This 3-day tour takes you to Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania, one of the wonders of the natural world, famous for its sunken caldera formed a million years ago. The local tribes people, their livestock and a great variety of animal, bird and plant life live in harmony on the crater floor. You then proceed to Lake Manyara National Park for more game viewing before departure...
Day 1
Upon arrival in Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by our customer service representative (early morning flight) and transferred by road to Namanga border town, where you will undergo immigration formalities before proceeding to Arusha. On arrival at Arusha you will have lunch at the IMPALA HOTEL, after which you will depart for Ngorongoro for dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge/ Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge /Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge. Day 2
After an early morning breakfast you will descend into the crater for a half-day game view. Ngorongoro Crater is referred by many as "eighth wonder of the world". The crater walls are 2000ft high and the floor spreads for 102sq miles, a truly awesome sight. It contains a river, several swamps, a soda lake-complete with flamingoes, a forest and open plains. A virtual "Noah's Ark", the crater is home to almost every species of wildlife indigenous to East Africa which include, gazelle, elephant, lion, leopard, cheetah, rhino, buffalo, wildebeest, zebra and numerous hippo. Eagles, cranes, storks and hundred of other birds also inhabit this spectacular area.

You will return to your lodge for lunch and later proceed to Lake Manyara National Park. Lake Manyara National Park is beautiful small park known for it's lush vegetation and tropical forests of giant fig and mahogany trees, elephants, giraffe, buffalo, zebra and variety of antelope inhabit the park as well as a variety of monkeys and a large population of hippo's. The park is also home to many species of birds and one of the few places you will be able to see the comical ground hornbill. After an afternoon game drive en-route you will check-in at LAKE MANYARA SERENA for dinner and overnight. (B, L, D)
Day 3
After breakfast and an early morning game drive depart and drive back to Nairobi with picnic lunches to be eaten en-route. You will arrive by early evening and be dropped off at you hotel or at the airport for your onward travel. (B, L)
