Amboseli National Park

Amboseli Lodge
This lodge is located inside Amboseli National Park. Accommodation is in 36 traditional cottages & 76 modern accommodation units all well spaced in beautiful gardens. Rooms have bathrooms and are surrounded by an electric fence. Facilities: Swimming pool with full view of Mt. Kilimanjaro, Nightly traditional Maasai dances. Main restaurant & 2 Bars.

 

 

Ol Tukai Lodge

Located inside Amboseli National Park. Accommodation is in 80 twin rooms with a view of Mt. Kilimanjaro Africa’s highest mountain. Facilities: The Elephant Bar offers a wide range of cocktails while watching elephants frolicking or gracing in the Wilderness, Also pool bar has a wide range of snacks and drinks. Acacia tree shaded swimming pool, Board games are available and there is a daily lecture from the elephant research station.

Amboseli Serena Lodge

Situated in Shadow of Mount Kilimanjaro, the lodge is at the centre of Amboseli National Park. Guest rooms, individually appointed with authentic Africana and murals painted by a renowned local artist, convey a distinctive Masai Manyatta mood. Traditional feasts and tribal dancing overlooking the waterhole where big game gathers. Swimming pool.

Tortillis Camp

The camp is located on the edge of Amboseli National Park. 17 tents under thatch on wooden platforms - 7 with twin beds, 10 with king - sized beds. Facilities: Comfortable open plan bar, lounge and dining room under thatch. Swimming pool and Pool bar. Gift shop.

Lamu Island

Petley's Inn - Lamu

The hotel is located on the seashore in Lamu. Accommodation at the hotel comprises of 11 rooms, which are all air-conditioned. Facilities: The hotel provides a clean sizeable swimming pool. Petleys Inn provide a bar and a restaurant on a roof top serving seafood specialties.

 

 

Peponi Hotel – Lamu

Peponi is a small hotel on the exotic island of Lamu, in the Indian Ocean off the coast of Kenya, the very root of Swahili culture, which spread centuries ago down the East African Coast. Peponi Hotel has a total of 24 rooms, which are divided into superior and standard rooms. All rooms at Peponi have ocean views.
The superior rooms are differentiated by their location, size, private outside area, indoor plants, artwork and Swahili furnishings. No two rooms are alike. Five of the rooms are built right on the beach, with private verandah areas overlooking the sea, while the rest have a combination of ocean and garden views. All rooms have overhead fans, mosquito nets, showers (no baths), fresh flowers, and personal safes.

Malindi & Watamu

Hemingways Resort

Hemingways is a 74 room resort Hotel overlooking the stunning beach of Watamu Marine Park, 20 miles south of Malindi and 60 miles north of Mombasa.The ambience of the hotel is of relaxed sophistication, with the friendliness of a privately owned hotel coupled to the facilities and standards of an International resort. It provides a wide range of excursions and facilities, from shopping trips to an in-house gym.

Driftwood Beach Club

The club is found 3km south of Malindi town centre, and about a 5 minute drive from the Malindi airport. Individual air-conditioned bandas (cottages) with thatched roofs and small verandas. Most of the rooms have en-suite bathrooms and every room has a mosquito net over the beds.

 

 

Scorpio Villas

At Scorpio the cottages are furnished in old Lamu style hand-crafted furniture. All the bedrooms are en-suite with 17-foot carved four-poster bed, air-conditioning and ceiling fans. Breakfast is served on the spacious verandas of the villas with no time limit. Freshly caught fish from the Indian Ocean is a daily feature. Italian and Swahili cuisine are Scorpio’s specialty.

Accommodations in the Mara vary from Lodges to Luxury Camps and Ranch Homesteads.

Olonana Camp

Olonana Camp is a small luxury camp featuring 12 spacious tents each with 2 queen sized beds. All tents have verandahs offering views of the Mara River. The meals at Olonana are exquisite. Besides a well stocked library lounge, there are a variety of activities including visits to the nearby Maasai village, game drives, Guided BUsh Walks, etc.

 

 

Keekorok Lodge

This lodge boasts 89 superior rooms, a swimming pool with a bar and outstanding views of the Mara plains.

 

 

Mara Serena Safari Lodge

Overlooks the famous Masai Mara Triangle, one of the worlds richest wildlife sanctuaries. See the annual migration of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle take place. The luxurious rooms are set in domed huts in a masterful interpretation of a traditional Masai village.

 

 

Sarova Mara Camp

Sarova Mara Camp offers the unique opportunity of experiencing a tented safari with a difference. It's 75 luxurious tents are set amid lush extensive gardens.

 

 

Mara Sopa Lodge

This lodge has 200 beds by way of 77 rooms, 12 suites and 1 presidential suite, all of which are 'rondavel' style and have en-suite bathroom facilities and private elevated verandahs with splendid views across the valley where guests can relax, sunbathe and watch the resident bird and wildlife.

Tsavo East & West

Finch Hattons Camp

This luxury camp has 35 en-suite tents, a dining room and bar and a swimming pool all set in 35 acres adjacent to Tsavo West.

Voi Safari Lodge

This 50-room lodge with a bar and restaurant also has a spacious conference room and a photographic hide.

 

 

Voyager Safari Camp

 A total of 20 tents are available 16 being on the south side of the river and 4 on the north side. All tents are en-suite and face the Tsavo river. The atmosphere is rustic but comfortable giving one a true African bush experience.

 

 

Kilaguni Lodge

This was the first lodge to be built in a Kenyan national park and was officially opened by His Royal Highness, The Duke of Gloucester in 1962. With 57 guest rooms(52 standard and 5 suites), Kilaguni Lodge commands magnificent views extending over some of the most rugged scenery in Tsavo. All rooms are en-suite with big verandahs facing the floodlit waterhole where drama unfolds every evening as hundreds of Elephants, Buffalo and Zebra come to the salt lick.

Samburu & Shaba National Reserves

Sarova Shaba Lodge

The Shaba Reserve 100kms north of the equator was made famous by Joy Adamson and her lioness Elsa. It has 80 thatch roofed bedrooms, one superior suite and four luxury suites, all including WC and bathroom . The superior suite also has a Jacuzzi. Camel Safaris are available from here. 

 

 

Larsens Tented Camp

It is a small tented camp set in lush lawns on the bank of the Uaso Nyiro  River in Samburu National Reserve. The 17 tents have en-suite bathrooms and face the river. It has a candlelit dining tent and a bar. Birds, vervet monkeys and Dik Dik wander freely around the camp.

 

 

Samburu Serena Safari Lodge

Situated on the banks of the Uaso Nyiro River, Samburu Serena Lodge captures the earthy rhythms of riverfront life. The flavor is rustic but sophisticated. Guest rooms overlook the river where crocodiles feed in full view.

Samburu Lodge

Samburu Safari Lodge has 64 en-suite river-facing rooms on the banks of the Uaso Nyiro River. The dining room is open on the riverside and the Crocodile bar that hangs over the water is a vantage point from which to view the nightly feeding of crocodiles.

 

 

Samburu Intrepids

The 27 tents in this refined retreat are arguably the last word in bush luxury. Each tent sits on its own secluded deck with sweeping views over the rushing river, where huge herds of elephant, buffalo and zebra come to drink daily.

Mt. Kenya & The Aberdares

The Ark

Set in the heart of the Aberdare National park, this unique Game Lodge overlooks a floodlit waterhole and Saltlick, which attracts a host of wildlife. It has 59 en-suite cabins, a ground level bunker, 2 non-smoking lounges and 4 game viewing areas.

Mt. Kenya Safari Club

Accommodation is in Luxury Villas, Cottages, Riverside Suites, Studio Suites and Club Rooms all with a magnificent view of Mount Kenya. Each room is en-suite with a fireplace. There is shopping, a health club, plenty of sporting activities and Mountain Excursions.

Treetops

This lodge rises straight out of the ground on stilts. It has four decks and a rooftop viewing platform. The 50 twin bedded rooms are small and cozy like cabins on board ship. Dinner is served at refectory tables with bench seating.

 

 

Rift Valley Lakes

Lake Nakuru Lodge

Accommodation is in room, cottages and suites, 60 in all, set in beautiful gardens. The lodge boasts 3 restaurants, 2 bars and a swimming pool. There are commanding views of the Lake and the flamingos for which it is famous. The Game viewing in this park is excellent. 

 

 

Lion Hill Lodge

This lodge has 64 chalet rooms, two luxury suites and one honeymooners' suite all with private WC and shower, private verandah and mosquito nets. It has a swimming pool, restaurant and bar with a large viewing deck overlooking Lake Nakuru and the distant hills. Other facilities include Sauna, Laundry service, etc.

Lake Naivasha Country Club

It has 50 rooms furnished in different styles set in 12 hectares of green lawns shaded by mature acacias and spreading fever trees, a large lounge, bar and snooker room and swimming pool. 

 

 

Lake Baringo Club

It has 68 rooms, a restaurant and bar. Activities include Bird walks, Horse riding, Bush Barbecues at Makalia Falls etc.
