Tree Hotel

There are three tree hotels in the Nyeri vicinity 160 kms north of Nairobi. Treetops Lodge and The Ark are in the Aberdares while Mountain Lodge is on the slopes of Mt. Kenya.

Day 1
Depart from Nairobi at 08:00 a.m. driving past the industrial town of Thika and the rich farmlands of the Kikuyu people to arrive in time for lunch at the ABERDARE COUNTRY CLUB before proceeding on to THE ARK LODGE for evening tea, dinner and overnight game viewing at the floodlit waterhole. Numerous species of game can be seen from the terrace including elephant, buffalo, etc. An alternative tree hotel in this vicinity is TREETOPS LODGE. For those opting to overnight at TREETOPS, lunch will be at THE OUTSPAN HOTEL.

Day 2
Depart for Nairobi after breakfast. A leisurely drive will bring you to Nairobi by early afternoon. Lunch at the CARNIVORE RESTAURANT, after which you will be dropped off to your accommodations.
